Before becoming an implant dentist, Dr. Long was a patient himself. Growing up with a severe nine-millimeter underbite, he underwent double jaw surgery and spent three months on a soft-food diet. After earning his DMD from the University of North Carolina, he completed a hospital-based residency at Augusta University under internationally recognized mentors.
